The Biggest Menace Facing Copywriters (So Far This Week): Sleepwriting
Something that made me laugh…
The Biggest Menace Facing Copywriters (So Far This Week) Sleepwriting.
Fallout 3 Vs Fable 2
I was having a chat earlier about games to one of those seasoned gamer types (a good bloke!). He recommended me a bunch including BioShock, Fable 2, Dead Space, Left 4 Dead, Mass Effect and some others which I’ve conveniently forgotten. Certainly enough to be going on with though. In fact I’m not planning on buying any for a couple of weeks (in reality I’ll probably buy some in the sales) but I have some pretty cool ones right now.
Let’s not Fallout. Here, have a drink.
It finally feels like Christmas which is nice. I had a few drinks on Friday and it was pretty cool (while still embarrassing in places), but I was knackered before I started. Yesterday (Saturday) was mainly sitting around playing Fallout 3 and today hasn’t been much different! I have had a chance to do a bit thinking about my story though. I have an annotated manuscript back from one of our group and it is awesomely helpful – now I can fix things that are broken and/or aren’t as clear as they could be in my story. Despite the fact that I was feeling pretty crappy after giving it out (I rushed to get it out the door and… well I’m gonna stop going on about it, cos that’s not helping!) Long and short is – the feedback made me feel pretty good and now I’m happy to go back and edit things.
Fallout 3
Latest (and Merry Christmas!)
We all met up on Sunday (the writer’s group I’m in) for a bit of a catch up session and to discuss our writing, which was great. I’ve got a few new ideas (not all of them mine!) for things to try out – mostly online things that I’ll blog about here. I’m hoping to have Sisters Noir, my online cinema project up soon, but the Love in the Time of Zombies site won’t be flashing until into 2009 (probably a blessing!)
