Roll up, roll up!
Welcome to Dwardus Prime, now a full time entertainment blog!
I hope you enjoy exploring the site. Read on for information concerning each area.
Dwardus Prime – Blog
I started writing the Dwardus Prime Blog in early 2008, but in truth I have only been blogging regularly for a few months. It started out mainly as a personal writing exercise but now I’m hoping to take it a little further. During the life of the blog so far I have commented on a number of different forms of entertainment including movies, television, video games and music.
I like to discuss television which I consider to be damn good, like the BBC’s Outnumbered, Survivors, Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe and Lead Balloon.
Other great tv shows I have written about include Spooks, Heroes and the exciting MSN UK Viral drama Kirill.
I love watching movies from a wide range of genres and parts of the world. Besides enjoying smaller films I have posted my thoughts on a number of recent blockbusters including Quantum of Solace, Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, Tropic Thunder and the gory Saw horror franchise which some love and some loathe. I have also constructed a list of what I consider to be some of the coolest on-screen villains of the ’00s.
I have posted about XBOX 360 games including Far Cry 2, Gears of War / Gears of War 2 and the most recent addition to a favourite series of mine – Tomb Raider: Underworld.
I love music. In 2008 I managed to get to both Glastonbury and Reading (and lived to tell the tale!). I’ve commented on a few bands including Elbow and their well-deserved Mercury win and a review of The Cardigans best of.
Sisters Noir
Sisters Noir is a site all about cool actresses and their place in cinema. It is also the collective name of the three so-called “sisters” featured in my stories, one of whom – Vika Noir, has a section dedicated to her on this site. Vika Noir’s section features a scrapbook of web comic pages and images, scripts and a story charting exploits in a chapter of her life. For regular Vika Noir updates, please see the blog and subscribe.
