I have been neglecting the blog a little over the past week or two as I’m re-jiggling my portfolio website and hopefully the design I’ve come up with will be slightly more impressive than the old one which is kinda basic. Anyway, I’ve been watching plenty of TV and some more Noir in the meantime, also a couple of games like Resi 5 and GTA 4. Expect some fresh posts very soon!

I went and grabbed my copy yesterday. Resident Evil games are always a bit good, and I love playing them. So I’m not exactly first in the queue, but considering how long this took to come out, what’s so great about getting it double quick and finishing it straight away? I enjoy soaking up the scenery. Then again, the game is completely break-neck. We were playing it last night. Resi 5, if you don’t know, is all co-op now so you can either play through single player with an AI-controlled lady or have your mate join in (more fun). As always, the packaging and presentation are top-notch, the orangey scrawls and African settings oozing detail. I do find myself swearing a fair bit at the archaic control system, though, and it is very similar in feel to Resi 4. Good fun though, I’ll let you know how I get on.

Danny Boyle hasn’t made a hundred films and he doesn’t need to. Every film he has made has been special and though some are better than others, it is obvious that the man has a lot of talent. With Slumdog Millionaire causing a stir, I take a look at both Slumdog and his previous works.
